TENNIS-CRICKET MARRIAGE

Indian tennis star Sania Mirza married Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik in Hyderabad on Monday in a ceremony that was open to just family and close friends. The newlyweds had a special guest too - Sahara boss Subroto Roy. The mehendi ceremony will be held on Tuesday, followed by the sangeet and a reception on April 15.

The marriage took place after a few hiccups and a quick divorce for Shoaib from his first wife Ayesha Siddiqui.

The 23-year-old Indian ace and 28-year-old Shoaib were scheduled to wed on April 15, but the family advanced the date.
The Indian tennis ace was dressed in a red sari, the one her mother Nasima wore for her nikaah25 years ago.
Shoaib, a former Pakistan captain, wore a blacksherwani, designed by Shantanu and Nikhil, for the nikaah ceremony, held at hotel Taj Krishna.

The mehandi ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, the sangeet will take place on April 14 and reception on April 15.

Shoaib agreed to Rs 61 lakh as meher amount to Sania at the time of the nikaah.In the Muslim community, the wife is given a set financial sum at the time of the marriage, which is written down as a term of the nikaah or marriage contract.

But all is well that ends well...At last after all the controversies,fatwaas,FIR etc,SANIA AND SHOAIB got married and i hope that they live a happy life.

Vivek Oberoi starrer Prince has proved to be a shot in the arm for the actor as the film has got above average response at the box office. The film has also elbowed out Ritesh Deshmukh-starrer Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai that fell flat courtesy its weak content.

In spite of frenetic editing and tiresome action sequences, the narrative lacks the energy that one expects from a thriller. The music of the film is insipid; more suited to the skin fest music videos that one was subjected to on television a few years ago. Director Kookie Gulati sets up some spectacular Hollywood style sequences but doesn’t do much with his actors.

The cast awkwardly stumbles its way around Sukant Panigarhy’s impressive sets.
Oberoi seems influenced by Tom Cruise in 'Mission Impossible' & 'Minority Report' and the script seems influenced by Oberoi's dire need of a hit film. Everything possible that can be done to project Oberoi as a super hero is done, including the Bondesque ploy of accessorizing him with three pretty newbie’s, super gadgets, hot wheels and loaded guns. The film even has an evil villain that sports re-bonded hair and a mechanical hand.
It is a one time watch film,if you want to see some good hollywood style action.

Acting wise, Farhan Akhtar once again proved himself. He is excellent. Deepika looks gorgeous and acts very well. Ram Kapoor is fantastic. Shifaali Shah is excellent. A good script and stroy as well.
Overall its a very nice movie with a different concept. This is really a creative and intelligent film.
On the whole, Karthik Calling Karthink is a complete product. This is an intelligent film. Excellent work by Debutant director Vijay Lalwani.

BLAST IN PUNE

Blast in pune yesterday killed 9 people,threatening Pakistan talks.

A bomb in a crowded bakery popular with foreigners killed nine people and wounded 57 in western India, prompting a call by Hindu nationalists Sunday to cancel peace talks with India's rival Pakistan.

The explosion, caused by a bomb left in an unattended bag, was the first major terrorist attack in India since the 2008 Mumbai attacks.

The blast Saturday night ripped open the German Bakery in the city of Pune. This german bakery was close to osho ashram once visited by David headly before he was caught.Out of 9 people dead 4 were foreigners.The blast occurred at 7:30 p.m. Saturday after one or two people acting as customers left a backpack with a bomb inside behind, officials said.

My take on ISHQIYA

Ishqiya is a film directed by debutant director Abhishek Chaubey. The film can relate to Omkara.But still somethings make it different from omkara.

Acting wise, Vidya Balan is top. She has given an excellent performance in this film. Arshad Warsi is back in form with his powerhouse performance as Babban. Naseeruddin Shah as Khalujaan puts life in the character. He is just excellent. Pakistani actor Salman Shahid is impressive.

On the whole, Ishqiya is a tangy, spicy and sizzling stuff. There are unpredictable moments in the film. The film is really worth a watch.

My take on VEER

Director: Anil Sharma
Cast: Salman Khan, Zarine Khan ,mithun chakroborty,sohail khan

Veer has many things going for it and the most important one being the conviction and hard work that Salman and Anil Sharma have lent to it. The battle scenes are terrific and so is the cinematography. There are many applause worthy moments for the masses to enjoy, be it the extremely well shot daring train robbery sequence.

Veer, however will work big time in the single screens and small towns, especially in the North. It is a paisa vasool movie just for watchingSalman Khan alone. Do check it out if you want to experience a pleasure entertainer.

My take on CHANCE PE DANCE

Plot is weak and the script writing is very poor. Dialogues lack the intensity which is required to pull the audience. First part of the movie is manageable but towards the second half, Ken seems to be in a hurry to wind up. Since, it is a dance-driven movie, it should have got some really catchy songs. Instead Adnan Sami and Pritam fail to create any magic.

Screenplay by Ken Ghosh lacks the dramatic graph and hence makes the entire plot boring

. Shahid has done a good job as usual and he is the lone factor to be watched out in the movie. Genelia is cute though turns to be screamy at some parts of the movie. The couple looks hot and wins the admiration of the audience.

To sum up, ‘Chance Pe Dance’ gives you no chance

to dance at all!

My take on Pyaar Impossible

The story of Yashraj Films' 'Pyaar Impossible' has been written by actor Uday Chopra. The story of the film revolves around a beautiful college girl Priyanka Chopra and a geek Uday Chopra.
Uday plays Abhay and Priyanka Chopra plays Alisha in the film. You can book you ticket to enjoy the weekend.
It can be watched once.
There is nothing special idea. As usual old Bollywood story. Priyanka is at her best once again. She looks gorgeous in the film. The role suits her image. While Yashraj has made last attempt to establish Uday Chopra as an actor.
Anupam Kher and Dino Morea appear as special appearance.

My take on DULHA MIL GAYA

Movie Review: Dulha Mil Gaya: Star cast: Fardeen Khan, Sushmita Sen, Ishita Sharma, Mohit Chaddha, Tara Sharma and Shah Rukh Khan (Sp. App); Director: Mudassar Aziz; Rating: * 1/2 - Is a predictable bore.
Fardeen puts in the efforts and delivers an okay performance. Sushmita Sen was also good!!Her comic timing was very good.finally SRK gave his superstar glimpse.The superstar puts in his 100% for this boring film.Don't watch it guys unless you are a hardcore Shah Rukh Khan fan who doesn’t mind sitting through a 150 minute bore only to catch a few sequences he succeeds in holding your attention in an otherwise boring film.

3 IDIOTS

I watched the movie yesterday.I really liked it.It was awesome, fantastic,fabulous....!!!!!!GREAT!!!!!!!

Everything was fantastic.The story,casting,music,comedy...and the way AAMIR,SHARMAN,MADHVAN acte was mind-blowing.

My rating to the movie out of 5 is 5.....

A must watch film...Go watch it...
