BLAST IN PUNE
A bomb in a crowded bakery popular with foreigners killed nine people and wounded 57 in western India, prompting a call by Hindu nationalists Sunday to cancel peace talks with India's rival Pakistan.
The explosion, caused by a bomb left in an unattended bag, was the first major terrorist attack in India since the 2008 Mumbai attacks.
The blast Saturday night ripped open the German Bakery in the city of Pune. This german bakery was close to osho ashram once visited by David headly before he was caught.Out of 9 people dead 4 were foreigners.The blast occurred at 7:30 p.m. Saturday after one or two people acting as customers left a backpack with a bomb inside behind, officials said.
